- edited February 2011I had that problem when I used the UI mod to see the non default skintones. This seemed to be only after LN was released, and after I removed the mod, the problem was gone.
I tried to link to the page at MTS, so you could check if you had that mod installed, but I'm unable to access the page, so maybe the creator has realised there is a problem and removed it.
Hope I was of some help!'No I'm from Iowa- I only work in outer space' James Tiberius Kirk - edited February 2011Sounds like a conflicting mod. Any mods you have that change options in CAS could be to blame-- I recommend checking with the creators of them all to get updates.
In the future, I highly recommend removing any and all mods prior to patching or installing a new addition to the game. Installing over them can possibly corrupt files and result in needing to completely remove and reinstall the game. When doing this, I also highly recommend making backups of your save files so that you don't run the risk of losing all of your data.0 - edited February 2011I had that problem when I used the UI mod to see the non default skintones. I have that mod and yes it happened after LN came out, thank you so much, I will delete it and see if it helps! - edited February 2011I had that problem when I used the UI mod to see the non default skintones. Ooh, thanks for the tip! I gotta try removing the mod that lets me see non default skintones...
By the way I did remove all custom content before updating with all the new patches and I still got the problem. =/ - edited February 2011I always remove the mods folder too, and I didn't have the skintones installed at the time, it was when I decided to try them again after LN and installed the UI mod that the problem occurred.'No I'm from Iowa- I only work in outer space' James Tiberius Kirk
- edited February 2011After removing the UI mod I now have gotten back all the functions of CaS, yay! Still having trouble with missing babies though... where the heck have all my newborns gone?!
- edited February 2011YES! It worked and even recovered some mods I had installed that I couldn't see in game (: Thank you so much for your help.
Also it stopped me from having the breast sliders and muscle definition sliders that came with the latest patch, so those have come up to!
Even though I did like having access to all of my downloaded skins, I am quite happy that I can make sims without having to choose a pre-made to change the gender/age/skin colour!
Thanks again - edited February 2011No problem, pleased I had the answer for you!
As a side note, I don't know if you have the no censor mod from MTS, but if you have OLS, the mod needs updated or you won't see the animations with the new hot tubs.
Thanks for the friend request! :-)'No I'm from Iowa- I only work in outer space' James Tiberius Kirk - edited September 2011I had this same problem. Fixed it by removing Rez Delvana's UI CAS basics double slider mod.
- edited October 2011I have the same problem!!!!! Only I don't have the UI package thing... at least I don't think... I've searched for it but can't find it. I started having the problem after the newest update. Now I can't change ages, skin tones, weight, muscle def., and theirs a breast slider for males!?!? Which doesn't work either. Please help!!!!
- edited October 2011Do you have cmar skintone panel? It does the same thing.
